Four Platforms.
Four Domains.
One Membership.
K Collective membership brings publishing, community, learning and commerce together, giving artists more ways to share their work, tell their stories, connect with others and create opportunities around their practice.
Membership includes K Collective, The 88 Editorial, My Art Space and Platform 88. Each has its own identity, purpose and dedicated domain, connected through one annual membership.
Before we open membership,
we are building it.
Throughout 2026, we are developing and testing each platform alongside a selected group of founding artists.
Together, we are establishing how art is published and presented, how artists tell their stories, how the community functions and how curated storefronts can work differently.
This year is also your opportunity to see what we are creating before deciding whether membership is right for you. Follow what we publish, meet the artists involved and watch each part take shape.
We want you to understand what you are joining before we ask you to commit to it.
One membership.
Four platforms.
Your work, published with us.
Your work becomes part of the Art page, where audiences can discover selected art from established, experienced and emerging artists in New Zealand and around the world. Alongside the artwork, we introduce the artist, their practice and the story behind what they create, giving audiences more than a portfolio alone can offer.
Your stories, told your way.
Long-form features, interviews, essays and cultural writing authored by artists. Their stories, their experiences, their ideas, told in their own way. The 88 Editorial gives artists the opportunity to write about their practice, experiences, ideas and the wider world around art, without someone else speaking for them.
Share. Post. Teach. Learn. Connect.
A private community created for participation and exchange. Share art, publish posts and blogs, promote exhibitions and events, start conversations, teach what you know and learn from others. Members also have access to online workshops developed with artists and educators who want to share their skills, knowledge and experience.
Your art. Your work. Your price. All yours.
A curated storefront for art, creative work and artist-led offerings, shaped collaboratively between you and our creative team. Together, we select and present original artworks, prints, digital and downloadable works, commissions, paid events, exhibitions and more. You decide what you offer and set your own prices.
We take no commission from your sales. Now and always. What you earn from your work remains yours. Why we charge
a membership fee.
Building something useful for artists requires people, technology, time and ongoing investment.
Your annual fee supports hosting, development and maintenance across all four domains, alongside creative direction, design, curation, editorial, publishing, administration, community management, marketing and technical support.
It supports the people behind that work too, from presenting art and developing storefronts to producing stories, creating opportunities and keeping the community active.
Part of the fee is reinvested into education. We support artists and educators in developing online workshops to share through My Art Space, creating another way for knowledge, skills and experience to move between members.
We chose this model because we don’t believe our growth should depend on taking a percentage whenever an artist makes a sale.
We take no commission from your sales. Now and always. What you earn from your work remains yours.
Your membership allows us to keep building, publishing, supporting artists and creating new opportunities.
