Welcome to KaYe Art Collective — a digital-first art platform and creative brand service connecting a global network of artists, creators, curators, collectors, and art enthusiasts.
We are proud to offer a full-suite, inspiring, and professional space where creative talent can flourish.
KaYe Art Collective is operated by K Design Brand Limited, based in Canterbury, New Zealand, with global reach. The people behind the company have been creating digital platforms and business solutions for many decades. With this experience, we are proud to launch a platform dedicated entirely to supporting artists and creatives online.
Please carefully review the following Terms and Conditions. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these terms.
Definitions
Artist: An individual who creates original artworks in any medium.
Creator: A user who produces original handmade pieces, branding materials, digital products, or other physical and digital works.
Curator: A person who selects, organises, and presents artworks or exhibitions.
Collector: A buyer or supporter of creative work.
Platform: The full-suite digital environment provided by KaYe Art Collective, including creative venues, tools, services, and interactive community features, the heart of the KaYe Art Collective, THE PLATFORM 88.
The Gallery: A curated venue for fine and traditional art.
The Artisan Studio: A space for handmade physical goods.
The Digital Studio: A space for digital creators to sell templates, branding materials, writings, music and digital artworks.
Atelier Listings: A commission-based venue where artists and creators list storytelling-driven commission offerings.
Events: A feature where all platform users can host or attend workshops, lessons, and talks.
KaYe Art Collective E-zine: Available to all platform subscribers, features artist interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, inspiration, and updates on current trends in the art world. They also include a classified advertising section where artists and creators can promote their current and upcoming projects.
My Art Space: The KaYe Art Collective very own social media channel. A free-to-use social area where all platform users post, comment, like, and create folders (“Art Spaces”) to document and share their creative work.
Selection and Approval: All artworks and products are reviewed by the Art Director to ensure originality, creativity, and quality. Duplicate or celebrity-based content is not permitted.
Art Director: Leads the front-end of the platform, overseeing content selection, artist correspondence, mentorship, and workshop delivery. They represent KaYe Art Collective at both online and in-person events and co-manage the platform’s internal and external social media channels with the Design Director.
Design Director: Oversees the back-end development, UX/UI enhancements, digital support, and creative solutions. The Design Director also collaborates on social media and platform troubleshooting.
1. Account Registration
Users must submit accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials.
2. Platform Services
KaYe Art Collective offers:
- Customisable profiles and portfolios
- Promotional tools and networking features
- Access to the The Gallery, The Artisan Studio, The Digital Studio, and
- Community services: My Art Space, The KaYe Art Collective Magazine, Events, and Workshops
3. Community Guidelines
All users agree to:
- Respect diversity and originality
- Avoid hate speech or explicit content
- Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or vulgarity
- Share only original or licensed work
- Avoid spam and unauthorised promotion
- Present artistic nudity in a respectful, contextual manner
Violations may result in content removal or account suspension.
4. Creative Venues and Listings
Artists and Creatives may operate an account per venue, with each account representing a distinct niche or creative focus. For each account, users may list between 10 and 30 items.
- The Gallery: Artworks are selected by the Art Director before they are listed on The Gallery’s themed exhibitions. 10 listings are free and The KaYe Art Collective incurs 30% commission. Over 10 listings are welcomed for paid members.
- The Artisan Studio: Creators may offer niche-specific handmade goods. Each artist and creator will have their very own site and will be managed by them. This is available to access for paid members. The KaYe Art Collective don’t charge commissions on any listings. Artists and Creatives must list a minimum of 10 listings up to 30 listings these are prior to the Art Directors approval.
- The Digital Studio: The digital studio is available for digital artists, writers, music creators and producers, brand designers, and graphic designers.Each artist and creator will have their very own site and will be managed by them. This is available to access for paid members. The KaYe Art Collective don’t charge commissions on any listings. Artists and Creatives must list a minimum of 10 listings up to 30 listings these are prior to the Art Directors approval.
- Atelier Listis: For commission-based listings with visual storytelling.Each artist and creator will have their very own site and will be managed by them. This is available to access for paid members. The KaYe Art Collective don’t charge commissions on any listings. Artists and Creatives must list a minimum of 10 listings up to 30 listings these are prior to the Art Directors approval.
All submissions are reviewed by the Art Director for approval.
5. Representation and Ownership
Artists retain ownership of their work. Only those featured in The KaYe Art Collective Gallery are officially represented by The KaYe Art Collective as our represented artists through our online exhibitions and future physical exhibitions in New Zealand.
6. Independent Transactions
KaYe Art Collective is not responsible for independent user agreements or disputes.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Creators are responsible for all shipping and delivery arrangements. KaYe Art Collective is not liable for delivery issues or damages.
8. Membership and Listing Fees
Option 1: Annual Membership – $399 NZD/year
- Unlimited access to all The PLATFORM 88 venues
- Listings remain live for one year
All works listed must be priced at $50 USD or above.
9. Events
Events are tools provided by KaYe Art Collective that allow users to create and book workshops, courses, and lessons. Hosted by artists and creators, events may be offered as one-off sessions or full courses, supported by our high-powered LMS (Learning Management System) developed by Monarch Design and Digital Solution Team, a family brand of K Design Brand Limited New Zealand that runs The KaYe Art Collective. Additional service fees may apply depending on the event.
10. Magazine
The KaYe Art Collective magazine is available to all subscribers and include:
- Interviews with artists
- Behind-the-scenes studio stories
- Insights into creative processes
- Updates on art world trends
A classified advertising section allows members of the community to promote their current and future work. Fees apply for advertising placements.
11. Privacy and Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of all content. By uploading to the platform, users grant The KaYe Art Collective a non-exclusive licence to display and promote their work. All data usage follows our Privacy Policy.
12. Moderation and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
Users agree to resolve disputes amicably and indemnify The KaYe Art Collective against any claims arising from use of the platform.
14. Force Majeure
The KaYe Art Collective is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by events outside our control, such as natural disasters or cyberattacks.
15. Updates to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
